A lot of people who meet me -- including many of my clients -- tell me that I'm not your typical attorney; they tell me that I'm as much a business man as I am a lawyer, because I analyze transactions not only from the legal side in terms of risks and liabilities, but also from the practical side like a business person does. They say that I'm "The Business Man's lawyer." I take that title as a high compliment.
One of the things that sets me apart from other attorneys is that I have a strong passion for networking, both in person and online via various social media sites. I've built my legal practice via networking and I leverage my many connections to help others in business. It is this passion that led me to create this site. Here you will find a clearinghouse of sorts to all my networking activities. My SocialSpace page contains links to my various networking organizations, as well as several professional organizations in which I am active.
I also write a lot of articles on various topics of business, real estate and estate planning law. The Articles page of this site contains links to these articles and I hope that you find these articles both interesting and informative.
Sometimes, though, I have a commentary on a new case or a new law that cannot wait for the next date of a particular publication. Other times, I might have a marketing tip or a referral to a good book on business, real estate or marketing that I want to share with you. That's where my blog, The Business Man's Lawyer, comes in. Check back often for updates, as I try to provide a few nuggets of wisdom each week.
